Development of a new village in Worcestershire (GB) 2011

On an up to now rural used area south of the A4440, close to nearby to Norton Barracks, Kempsey and St Peter the Great in the South Worcester Community, a new village is planned. Up to 2.500 homes as well as the corresponding facilities intended. For an early participation of the citizens in the Vision for the new village a first Community Planning Weekend was held on the 08./09. July 2011. Over 160 local people attended the workshop and expressed their ideas as well as their concerns about traffic and flood risk connected to the project. On 6. October the 1. Community Forum is going to be the next step.
