Sustainable urban development in Attleborough (GB) 2010

Breckland District Council’s Core Strategy identifies
Attleborough as a strategic growth location to
accommodate in the region of 4500 dwellings and
associated development. In accordance with the Core
Strategy, Attleborough Land Ltd (part of the Ptarmigan
Land Group) is promoting land to the south of the railway
line for the majority of this growth.
Breckland District Council will be preparing an Area
Action Plan for Attleborough and Snetterton Heath. To
help inform that process, Attleborough Land Ltd have
commissioned John Thompson and Partners (JTP) to
engage residents and stakeholders in an assessment of the
issues and opportunities for the site and surrounding area
and to create a new Vision for the future.
